Murugan (Karthikeya) Temple Prasadam, Palani
Palani Murugan Temple, or Dhandapani Murugan Temple or the Hill Temple of Palani, is a standout amongst the most popular Murugan sanctuaries in India arranged in the town of Palani, around 100 km southeast of Coimbatore, in Tamilnadu, India.
This aged sanctuary, constructed amid the seventh Century AD by Cheaman Perumal – a leader of Kerala, is the third Arupadai Veedu among the Arupadaiveedu or the six habitations Lord Muruga. Arranged 60 km from Dindugul in Tamil Nadu, this acclaimed journey focus is found on the Sivagiri Hill at a rise of 1500 ft above ocean level. The chief deity is Lord Dandayudhapani Swami. The other five Aarupadai Veedu Murugan sanctuaries are Thiruchendur Murugan Temple, Swamimalai Murugan Temple, Thiruthani Murugan Temple, Pazhamudircholai Muruga Temple, and Thiruparamkunram Temple.
